Wow, just wow.

Last night was just freakin awesome.

So after gettin aquainted with my roomie and such, I went to a BBQ they had at the Ihouse. It was good times of course, free food and limbo xD

Then we went inside and played Mafia. That's right, Mafia. Go me. :D

You see, it was crazy. I've never been so extroverted in my life. I mean I was a bit shy at first coming here, but talking with all these guys and gals from other countries, I just got more and more talkative. It wasn't just me, almost everyone there was just extremely friendly and outgoing, like you couldn't just NOT have fun.

And everyone was chattering me up, and vice versa and I was ownin the mafia games and it was freaking sweet.

And I also did something I never dreamed I would do, especially on a first day, talk to a whole bunch of girls and not really give a crap. (All of them hot >=3)

I mean, I even went to a small group of asian girls and accused them of being wallflowers and got them to join the fun, they hadn't said like 3 words the whole time and in mafia they were accusing people like crazy once they got into it. The mafia game got soo huge and intense it was ridiculous.

Then later in the night we went to the basement and I played some pool and foosball, with a british girl with large...plots of land =O. And then those of us left gathered around the 360 for some rockband and halo. (We had to use a bunch of my controllers for this) >.> XD

I figured that there'd be plenty of people who were like, crazy god-likes at vidja games there. Turns out: Nope. I'm still reigning awesome. xD (Well in the Ihouse at least. xP There's still some uber geeks on campus who owwwwwwn me hard xP) It was pretty hilarious and awesome though, because I got to introduce a bunch of people to Halo and Guitar hero who've never played them before, including my roommate, and a few other guys, and I got to teach two very appealing british gals how to play by sitting between them and showing them the ropes.

Speaking of girls, omg. I flirted like crazy. I cannot believe how frickin outgoing and confident I was. I just didn't really care. All the women in the Ihouse I've seen except the older ones are hot. I've been introducing myself, talking like crazy, and I plan on askin some girls on dates soon. I love it cuz then I wont have to get all hung up if I get turned down, cuz theres actually a ton more options available, rather than putting all my eggs in one basket and failing. And btw these werent colij sluts or anything either, these are some smart ass girls studying business and engineering, etc. (Well, except maybe the australian girl. not sure about her >.>;;)

Both the brit girls I showed GH3 to were studying animation and I ended up asking asking them all some Q's, and found out that they was both single. >:333 It's pretty wild that considering the amount of fail with the wimminz I've had before how well I was doing with them.

Anyways, I finally hit the hay after exchanging some information with them and today I met my 2nd roommate, who is a big Brazilian guy with a minimal grasp of the english language. (He is also a little intimidating O.O) But he's so cool and he gave me and Siraj a keychain thing from Brazil.

So I've been having just a KICK-ASS time so far, it would've been perfect except...

I brokeded my glasses DDD: So now I'm a little blindish on the computer ^_^'

But oh well, it's all good.

Cheers!

Alright, so here's my first LJ entry about mah San Jose shenanigans.

So I finally got down here and so far it's a pretty awesome.

It turns out that they had to reject over 40 different applications for the house, so I got lucky! :O

Well I'm going to have 2 roommates, but I'm in one of the bigger rooms so it works out. :O

I haven't met one of my roommates yet, who is from Brazil and should be coming tomorrow, but I met my first roommate.

He's an Indian british guy, as in, his parents were from India but he was born in the U.K.

He Loves rap music (As I gathered from his playing of it constantly on his laptop xD) and he loves fish and chips and drinking. In fact, one of the first things he discussed was that he was disappointed in how the drinking age in America is 21, whereas it's 18 where he lived xD;;

He uses his laptop a ton like I do, (If not more actually) but for different things. He talks to his friends on MSN a lot. (I mean, actually talks, with voice.) And hearing him talk with his friends with their accents is both amusing and mostly incomprehensible.

I also got lost in this place twice. I ended up going in loops and ending up in the same place and trying to act casual >.>

The game room is freeeaking awesome. Theres rock band, a piano, foosball, air hockey, billiards, ping pong, and vending machines. I have a feeling I know where I'm gonna be spending a lot of my time >:3

Also: hot chicks. A lot of them OwO

I'll be sure to update more when moar stuff happens, but thats all I got for now =O I has a BBQ to go to. =p

So I had to do some thinking tonight after an incident.

At one point, the internet started not working and I freaked out, thinking it might be my laptop, so i did all sorts of anti-spyware stuff, still no luck. So i walked all the way to village grind and the internet worked fine there. I walked back home and amusingly the internet started working again.

And I started to think to myself: Wow, I am frickin addicted to my laptop. No, I'm addicted to the internet.

But it's true. But what IS it about the internet. The word internet itself is a very vague sort of idea, because it encompasses every bit and byte of media, text, and porn that is networked between billions of computers.

But what does it mean for me?

To me it's a double edged sword.

The internet and my laptop means being able to read incredible graphic novels for free that I never would have been able to read in the states, or find an the average bookstore.

It means downloading and hearing new and old and just all around awesome music that I most likely never would have heard.

It means being able to put all of all of the music onto a convenient little device that is so ridiculously easy to use that i can submerge myself into my songs.

It means being able to half/communicate with friends without the need of paying money for a phone call. However, messenger programs are remarkably impersonal in that theres roughly any room for inflection, eye contact, tone, etc. And your free to stop talking and a little more free to say what you want.

It means discovering new things that I never would have seen or heard of without the internet. (Epspecially in this rinky dink town).

It means having access to the nation's information and misinformation. It means I hopefully wont make a shallow, or misled political voting choice.

But it also means a further glamorization of beauty, with ads of attractive men and woman bouncing everywhere, glomping your eyes with their flashy colors and although terribly annoyingand obtrusive, they consistently portray the impossible minority image of "beauty" and make you feel inferior.

It means feeling inadequate. Imagine the affects of a commercial, telling you that a certain part of you that you didn't care about earlier, or thought was alright is now all of a sudden hurting your life and that you need ___ product in order to be happy. It means now linking up bad feelings with this thing I have. (Or don't have). Now imagine this commerical times 3. Everywhere, in e-mails, ads, and hidden in almost every page you go to.

It means communing with a ton of people that you will likely never see again. This is mostly anonymous, which can lead to arguments, debate, or shallow friendships that dont bring an ounce of authenticity or true happiness.

It means over exposure to EVERYthing sex. Mostly bad things such as pop up ads and viruses almost always associated to porn, and sick fetishes, (Aka: 2 girls 1 cup.)

It means a warped sense of humor. The internet always has to top itself when it comes to finding funny material, be it videos, pictures, etc. it construes one's sense of humor and vast expanse of humorous anecdotes.

It means downloaidng things for free quite illegally and getting away with it. Like Dvd's, albums, etc.

It means, the internet.

I dunno, I ran out of things, you can post your own if you'd like xD I'm gonna ponder some more. :3

So Last night/morning was both awesome and ugh xD

The awesome: FRISBEE!!!! =D Then hanged out with cool friends and played brawl and guitar heroes =D Also played spoons and snap which was friggin hilarious and awesome. Also: pizza. :3

The not-so-awesome. I invited only billy and I said don't bring no drugs or alcohol, and what shows up is Billy...along with Sam, Kenny, Smothers, and Harvey. The three latter had obviously gotten high probably .02 seconds before coming in and smothers smelled like actual smoke. >< it wouldn't have been so bad imo however halfway through the party, Kenny, little Chris Smothers, and harvey went off for a "break". Or as Harvey put it, "Just wanted to look at the clouds." Actually, Sam was really cool and didn't go and get high. And harvey also managed to eat everything in sight, he was friggin munchiezilla. I cut him some slack because his parents both recently died, but he was just a total buzzkill and was just not fun to be around in the party. Plus I said no drugs at ALL, which means "Don't F*$*ing bring drugs just so you can go toodle off and get high.

I wish I could've gone to Mickey'D with my buds but I had to stay back and babysit my place. :/ i don't blame them for leaving but it still sucked.

Thank GOD Ethan stayed with me, because that left him and Ben there and we played uno and spoons and snap pretty much the rest of the night. That was awesome at least, and Ethan helped curb mah sanity xDD

Finally when the druggies left, me isaac, Ben and Ethan chatted away which was awesome as well of course.

But yeah, if I ever do anything like this again, I ain't inviting any of those guys. I mean Billy's cool and all but not if he's gonna drag the dooby squad with him.

But then I played poker tonight and thats always coo. :3

Also: Frosted butts.

Here's a nice list of anti-jokes for ya. :]

These were inspired by the many anti-jokes we were telling last thursday.

A man walks into a bar. His alcohol problem is destroying his family.

What's worse then finding a worm in your apple?
Being shot in the head.

What did the farmer say when he lost his tractor?
"Where's my tractor now?"

How many jews can you fit in a Volkswagen Beetle?
Four. Two in front, two in back.

A duck walks into a bar...
Animal control is promptly called.

Why do Mexicans not like going out in the rain?
It's wet.

A Blonde and a Brunette jump off a tall building at the same time. Who hits the ground first?
Both of them hit the ground at the same time. Hair color doesn't affect acceleration due to gravity.

How do you confuse a blonde?
Paint yourself green and throw forks at her

Why was six afraid of seven?
It wasn't. Numbers are not sentient and thus incapable of feeling fear.

A party of mathematicians aproaching infinity walk into a bar. The first one orders a glass of beer, the second one half a glass, the third one quarter of a glass, 1/8, 1/16 etc. The bartender poors 2 glasses of beer and calls them all a bunch of dicks.

Why did the chicken cross the road? I don't know, it's a fucking chicken.

So a nerd goes up to a hot girl and says, "Will you go out with me?" and the girl goes, "Not on your life, you loser." (Chris: Sigh :[ )

So these two black dudes walk into a bar and order a couple of drinks...
Then they pay their tab and take a cab home.

What's funnier than a dead baby?
A good majority of the things in the world are funnier than a dead baby. What a terrible thought.

What do you call a bastard girl willing to prostitute herself?
Sad.

A man comes home and finds his wife cheating with the neighbor in his bed. He grabs a gun from the side table drawer and shouts, "What the fuck is this shit?" His wife goes, "IDK, my BFF Jill?"

A man walks into a movie theater with a duck and the usher tells him he can't bring the duck in. The man says, "Okay," and drives home to watch Braveheart on DVD with his duck.

Why couldn't the dog fit through the dog-door?
It was driving a tractor

You know that geology class I was all worried about??

I failed it.

Yup. i was the only one in the class who failed.

This, after the teacher told the whole class that I was the one struggling. "Well your FRIENDS are passing the class..." He said. So because he basically told them, the entire class knew that I was Mr. DERR DERR DERR and now Mr. DERR DURR HURR at science failed.

This, after I had done EVERY assignment, been to EVERY field trip, helped and been helped by the people in the class, did all the quizzes, stayed in his room for 5 hours studying for the final and...

And I failed, with a D, a fairly low one as well.

So that means I gotta take this class AGAIN in San Jose for a LOT more money. Also my GPA is now crap because of a science class that has absolutely nothing to do with my major or plans for the future. And since my gpa is down i wont recieve as much FA which means I have to pay even more for SJSU. Meanwhile my self-esteem and pride were completely shot down.

SOoo.....a half hour and a broken window later I have vented and raged hopefully a lot out of my system via a conniption. It felt good, but not good enough. HOPEfully i can sleep a majority of this off, but I wanna keep some rage tucked away so i can yell at the teacher. He's a nice guy as a person but his grading methods leave a lot to be desired.

SOOOoooo yea. A little pissed.

It's unfortunate too, because I was in a good mood all day.

So yesterday i went to medford with Issac and (Surprisingly enough) Jalena.

Before I get into that though I should announce that Josh Zweifler will NOT be living in the international house next semester, but will instead be getting a seperate apartment! =D

Anyways, onto medford. We had originally planned to go to medford to see Death note. We first went to Barnes and Noble where we spent a while and then we went to the magic man where I bought a new ring and we saw HARVEY of all people (Along with Smothers). We chatted and apparently he was visiting his mom and stuff. (You can guess what those guys were in magic man for. :P)

Then we went to guitar center, and then the theater, where we discovered that the movie had sold out 45 minutes ago, around the time when we were in magic man. =[

So no awesome movie for us. So we basically sat around for a while until we decided to go to the mall. I bought a Dave Barry book, (Yay) at the bookstore but then discovered that the mall was closing so I could not get the game I was planning on buying. :'<

But I gots me a Dave Barry book and a new shirt so that's pretty cool.

Lastly we went to the lava lanes and the whole time we spent our time in front of the block machine where...you push the button to stop the blocks, and if you make it to minor prize level you can either pick a minor prize, like a dog tag or a necklace, or yo can try for the major prize, (Like a DS or a ipod shuffle. :P)

I could have had the minor prize 5 times but I went for the Ds everytime! xD Me and this other guy that was there were only 1 away from the major prize, but got trounced at the last second. ><

Then we <strike>went to the adult shop</strike> went straight home and called it a night. :3

And that's about it.

So graduation was last night, and if I could describe it in two words it would be:

Hot

Long

I thought that being in the gym would make graduation cooler, but it turns out that the "AC" system at good ol COS gym consists of a giant ass fan.

It was hot and humid as hades in there. Nearly everyone in the audience (And those graduating) were using their programs as fans. It was kind of amusing, it looked like a flock of birds were everywhere in the stands.

Luckily the speakers didn't go on and on about their own ideology (Aka high school graduation.). But they still took forever and a day. Plus I was already in a fairly crappy mood cuz of what happened earlier. >.>;;)

But It wasn't all bad, because everyone's always in a gloriously good mood at graduation so i couldn't help but at least smile when random people I sorta kinda knew were chatting me up.

Also, all the teachers and faculty were wearing black robes, Eve looked like she should be a hogwarts teacher xD It was great.

So now I have 2 graduation parties this weekend. You'd think this wouldn't cause problems but both my mom and stepmom told me to invite my friends to THEIR party. So I have pressure from 2 moms to invite people to two different parties. I feel that it's kinda bigoted to invite people to two grad parties (Especially my own.) it's like hey guys, come to these parties, were gonna celebrate MEEE and MYY accomplishments!! Mwahahaha.

but drama between my mom's has always existed and I don't wanna rift anything. Luckily Dyan took initiative and already invited Marty and them for me, so I also told them about my other on on sunday, leaving the rest up to them.

So if any of you are/were interested in attending one of these parties, let me know (Via, emial, or messenger, etc.) And ill give you the time and place of them, or one, depending on which sounds better.

Goddamn Geology.

I have 4 A's and one 61% D. Anyone wanna guess what class that's in???? =DDD

How the fuck am I supposed to enjoy graduation when the possiblity of failing that class looms over my head!?

I did EVERY assignment, did ALL the homework, took ALL the quizzes, did ALL the labs, showed up for EVERY class and I still have a low D.

I basically have to completely Ace the final in order to pass. (i think I figured it out that i have to get at least 94%. And that's even after the curve he's gonna put in the grading. So even with the curve I have to dominate the final or I'm sunk.) but it's multiple choice, just like all the quizzes we've had, and the highest grade I've ever gotten on a quiz was a 70%. A 70%!! With the rest being like 40 and 30%'s.

And I've been studying my ass off recently for the quizzes and still bombed them. He doesn't have concrete study guides and ust says what chapters to study from. I'd better not fucking fail that class or I'd have to take it AGAIN in SJSU and my whole college plan would be set back a semester, plus I'd have to pay top dollar for a class I already took.

And the teacher had the gall today to announce to the WHOLE class that I had the lowest grade and that I was the only one he was worried about failing. Self-esteem? Completely gone. Anger and stress? through the fucking roof.

There's no fucking geology tutors. I have to study my FUCKING ass off alll monday in his classroom and all tuesday morning and pray for an extremely high grade.

This is shit. I'm a COMMUNICATION major! I'll be getting my AA in ARTS. And this is all gonna be fucked up because I couldn't remember which time period the sedimentary rocks formed glaciation or whatever.
